Dear Fellow Hunter,
New Year, new hunting opportunities and experiences! I wish everyone luck fighter rich New Year!
Wild Boar Driven hunting in December
In my previous report I indicated that we were preparing for wild boar drive in December! From now on I could report even more: the twelve-person team arrived on 20th December in a public hunting area of Hungary, Transdanubium. Comfortable accommodation, fine dining welcomed the guests.
The hunt took place in 500-acre game preserve, of course, according to our guests needs. The hunting was planned for one day long – the amount required to hunt wild justify this.
In the morning the weather was not favourable for us. We woke up for a windy, foggy weather, hunting is not well suited to time, but there was nothing to do, we left! The fog thinned soon due to the strengthening wind, so we were able to ensure a safe hunt.
The planned three firing line drive replacement is carried out successfully thanks to the professional staff flexibility and professionalism. Thank you for the guests’ good mood, disciplined and safe gun handling, and of course the great shots.
The evening sought on outstanding tusker wild boar lined up.
Rabbit hunting in December
December is the hunting month of small game. We took part in some hunting of rabbit and pheasant. If I now write, it was all very nice and perfect, do not say the truth because it is not realistic to appreciate these hunts. The results fell far short of the expectation due to the weak rabbit population. Every year in the summer and autumn drought decimated the rabbit population to; in such cases we cannot expect good results. This situation is accepted by all of our guests. Hunting results and success was more beautiful and valuable wild pheasants flying the supremely well. Usually a group of 5-6 people can serve up daily and an equal number of pheasant and rabbit hare of 20-30 pieces.
I can guarantee it.
Wild geese hunting in December
Hortobagy is known about the large numbers of migrating wild geese population, offering hunting opportunities according many hunters’ heart desires. It is however recognized that the hunting of them is not easy! The weather is an important factor of these hunting. If there is fog, in this case just a good, because then the geese cannot see in the pit hidden hunters and geese cannot really oriented, on the other hand, there are need well-prepared, professional hunters. The wild geese go out to feed into the wheat fields or eventually corn fields after the resting waters during night. When they leave the water, each time they land at a different areas to eat.
Nice group of four fighters – a morning goose hunt around. We were able to hunt wild goose 30db. Of course, it could have been more, but in all cases, legal requirements must be met.
We could hunt approximately 30 pieces of geese in a nice group with four hunters. Of course it could have been more, but in all cases, legal requirements must be met.
January wild pheasant hunt
Finally we managed to hunt pheasant, because by mid of January the real winter weather arrived, it could come sooner…but we were also very happy about it!
Cool in cold, snowy day, sunshine we were preparing the three-man group in the morning after quick briefing wild pheasant hunting, a hunter and a hunter accompanied by a dog!
Usually we sought after channel coasts in a quiet and steady pace. The success was guaranteed with good dogs. It is an old and true observation that the birds are more watchful in cold and snowy weather and also fly faster, like real roosters. Hunting was a parade; I wish everyone a similar experience! By evening there were shot 25 pieces of wild pheasant; thanks to three hunters – not bad! The tired company finished the day with a Hungarian dinner in a Hungarian jerry.
Individual wild boar hunting in January with extraordinary luck
The most popular hunting forms among the hunter are the ambush or rather staling hunting of boars.
My Guest – I can tell my Friend – blessed by extraordinary luck! The story is the following:
Early morning started with a deer calf’s damage. Low blood… I could not really do anything with that, there was a little snow which would have facilitated after the search, but instead I decided to call the dog for help. The colleague told us that we required at least four hours waiting for the spoor so we waited according it and then let’s go! Our Guest, the dog and the hunter began the search for the wounded calf. The spoor led to a big old forest. Suddenly – without completely clear undergrowth in a forest – we noticed two ears and in the second half of the moment two more ears; and in the third moment a boar got up from his resting place, but the hunter responded quickly and shot one of the running boar and also the second jumping boar. Unfortunately, we could not put the dog back to spoor because he did not care anymore.
Well, there is one! May we all live through a similar experience!
